COVID-19 is not an issue for most people. Since everything (including hospitals) have lifted mask mandates, it's no surprise he was unmasked. The problem earlier was that people were getting COVID-19 at a high rate. Now we can go a year with under 100 people getting it symptomatically.

What the masks were for? During the Pandemic what the masks were for was to get people used to the government controlling their lives.
