Eight years ago, in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election, J. D. Vance was a bitter critic of Donald Trump. Publicly, he called the Republican presidential candidate an "idiot" and said he was "reprehensible." Privately, he compared him to Adolf Hitler.

But by the time the former president tapped Vance to be his running mate on Monday, the Ohio native had become one of Trump's most ardent defenders, standing by his side even when other high-profile Republicans declined to do so.

I know little about him eventhough I once dwelled in the great state of Ohio.

I like that he once was negative on trump, as I was... for similar reasons, that he reversed his view around the same time...2021... earlier for me. He didn't just flip when he was chosen, he was already inside the Trump circle.

I like that he can claim to represent the less fortunate whom are lost in the country, on drugs, and down and out. If that isn't just a political stunt and has meat behind it to make chanages and reach people using govt resources but as well, church resources, then it's a positive to me.

I've not read any of his writing, so I know as much about him as I do the mud at the bottom of lake michigan.

I patiently await the choice of the left's new candidate (s)... maybe they will win my vote over by selecting fine central candidates. But as it looks now, they continue to make stupid decisions, forcing me to vote for trump. It will be an icy cold day in Lake Superior before I vote for Kamala for anything.

When JD was a poor kid in Ohio, he sold his balls to a guy that handed him a fistful of beans. The guy was Donny. He promised that if JD planted the beans, they'd make him big and strong. No surprise, they won't. Instead, we see that he's a hypocrite. He's fragile, weak, willing to say anything to be accepted by the big kids.

The most pathetic thing is how well documented his ideological impotence is. It will interesting to read his legacy -- that is if the Republicans don't outlaw honest text books.

He can't be fired. The convention electors voted him to be the VP candidate. Also Trump convinced him to announce his beliefs about legally preventing abortions nationally for any reason, even if a 13 year old is raped she will be forced to carry it to term, even if it endangers her life. Trump has been trying to say that he does not favor the Heritage foundation or the 2025 Presidential Project when he has been behind it all along. Vance is very much in agreement with all the bullshit in that (bloated) document. They have cooked up a way for Vance to get that pushed through once the win the election.

(I’ve talked to nurses and they told me this) my uncle is also a doctor in Mexico and he gave my family the same medicine that CNN called “horse dewormer” when Joe Rogan simply said that is what his doctor prescribed him. And said “take this is you pop positive for covid” that medication cleared up the covid symptoms in 2 days.
