I have been following his interviews for a while now and it’s definitely a fascinating insight. However I’m not sure he is able to provide the full picture given that Hamas - like all these organizations - consists of different factions with partially contrary ideas. Remember, in the past Fatah was seen similar to Hamas.

He has seen them operate for over 20 years, from top to bottom. He has even seen what they do to people in prison if they suspect them of squealing.

Maybe there is a wing of Hamas that ignores the stated charter of their leaders where they want to completely wipe out Israel but I doubt it.

But good on you for watching these interviews because a lot of people make erroneous assumptions before seeing what people who I've been in the organization themselves have to say.
