Why are Republicans more upset about Biden stepping down than Democrats?

I've seen more than a few GOP politicians say there was a "coup" against Biden, but I have yet to hear any Democrat politicians say what happened was wrong.

There are a few on here, or so they would have you believe. Republicans are upset because they had Biden beat after the debate. Now a non-senile, younger person is running and they went from sure thing to under 50% chance. That's what they're upset about. They're just pretending they care about the primary voting where he ran virtually unopposed as if that meant anything.

Biden did not step down. He was kicked to the curb by Democrats.

I guess Trump planned his whole campaign around taking on Biden. I guess him and his supporters thought he could beat Biden easily, but with Kamala they're not so sure. She's sharp and sneaky and people will probably get behind a woman of color

Because when you spend millions on ads against Biden and he drops out that is a lot of wasted money... they should pay the republican party back for lost wages.
