The DNC would only ever support a firmly ESTABLISHMENT candidate that they "owned" in a variety of ways and had strong influence over. RFK is not one of those people, and you've seen what the DNC does to non-establishment candidates: look at Bernie Sanders.

One of the main reasons that people support Trump - despite his many minor personal flaws - is that he's NOT part of the establishment - the establishment that is thoroughly corrupt and has corrupted every department and agency of the government. And that's why the establishment (including some Republicans) have been doing absolutely everything possible to prevent him from being able to run - and why they lost their minds so badly when he won in 2016.

The Establishment doesn't care of a Democrat or a Republican wins the White House, AS LONG AS both candidates are part of the establishment and can be controlled. What they absolutely cannot stand is a rogue that they can't control and corrupt - that's dangerous to them and their agenda - and good for the American people.

Trump has plenty of flaws and rough edges, and even the biggest MAGA people are fully aware of them and what they are. But they don't care, because all of that is insignificant compared to stopping the agenda of the Establishment - which is, in it's most simple terms - to eliminate the Middle Class and take America back to a more feudal system with a small number of ultra-wealthy ruling elite with all the power, and just enough poor serfs to keep the infrastructure running to serve the elite. If you actually listen to the talks given at the World Economic Forum, you'll learn for yourself that that's more-or-less exactly what they elites are pushing for.

Kennedy has never tried to sell his endorsement to Trump, that's just a false narrative spread by the establishment to discredit Kennedy. The info in the Rolling stones article has already been debunked, Kennedy has no plans of dropping out and endorsing Trump. Kennedy being a kook? that's just a false narrative being spread by MSM and Democrats to discredit Kennedy who has been a life long Democrat and a very successful environmental lawyer. Not a Trump supporter at all here, but there's no way RFK does those kinds of numbers against the cult of Trump. He wouldn't win even with the Democratic vote behind him. There would be a lack of passion to get behind him.

RFK doesn't need to win over Trump supporters to get those kind of results, he just needs to win the Democratic vote and the majority of Independent voters. Recent polling has Kenned beating Trump in a 1v1 by almost 20 points. I've encountered many voters on social media that are supporting Trump, but would consider voting for RFK if it was just Trump vs Kennedy, as they don't want to play spoiler for Biden/Harris.

I'm not talking about winning. over Trump supporters. I'm talking about democratic supporters having a lack of interest in him. I haven't seen a poll with him winning by 20 points from a legitimate source so if you have one that's fine. I've only seen one with Michelle Obama winning by 10.

I beg to differ, it could be a situation like 2020, where many Independents weren't voting for Biden, they were voting against Trump, and could see the same thing happening in 2024 except this time it would be Democrats voting against Trump more then they are voting for Kennedy. Same poll that has Michele winning by 10 points, also had Kennedy winning by 14 points (I know a stretch to claim 14 point lead as almost 20).

Unfortunately, we will never know because democratic leaders don't want him, so he will be in third with somewhere between 2-5% of the overall vote.

I doubt it'll be that low, a recent poll has him polling at 22%, and once he's on the ballot in all 50 states, his support will grow a faster.

I'm open to the options when comes time to vote, I've said that before. I like RFK. I'm not sure he's better than trump in general, but I like how he thinks and his viewpoint. he's central, and that's good.

I'm not sure can get a central candidate at this point as those people get tossed out.

I supported other candidates than trump on the right and on the left previously... did not support biden/harris, didn't like.

Could you imagine how much worse it would have been if he hadn't closed the borders when he did or get the vaccine out as fast as it could? The guy catered to so many people's concerns so quickly. I really don't get what people feel could have realistically been better.

Also, anyone taking money from A-pac is a swamp creature. It's not the individuals, it's the structure of government lobbying has allowed for.
