Oecd' countries japan and korea are successes at pisa' tests, but they also have better potential.

While iq' is calculated so "whatever is average" is called 100, the averages locally in japan and r. Korea tested as more intelligent. For them to succeed at solving math was easier. For them to get 1550 in pisa is expected. For math 527.

But take a country like u. s. Our 15 year olds ARE the average, 100 iq, only a bit above 100, score 1468 surpassing sweden despite average intelligence, still scored high 465! Like 88% of their score.

Isn't that a bigger accomplishment?

And don't even get me started on national quality... called i. c. i. We got the only a+ in oecd by climbing from average intelligence.

Training specifically to pass a standardized test isn't an accomplishment. When you go into a test blind and preform well without prior exposure or preparation, it indicates you have potential to do great things. If you then leverage that natural ability to go do something important, then you have accomplished something.

If someone trains you how to do well on a specific IQ test by exposing you to similar questions, and trains you how to answer those questions well, that is not your IQ that is reflected in the test results, it the IQ of the person that came up with the strategies for answering those sorts of questions. All you've done is got a false evaluation of your IQ. You don't actually know your true potential because someone else has lent you their brain power.
