What did Trump mean that unskilled immigrants crossing the border "are taking black jobs"?

That is an extremely stereotypical and racist remark I think. Why should black people vote for Trump with racist remarks?

I understand kinda what your saying. It's like for me why would I ever vote for Harris when all she does is basically attack freedom of religion everywhere she goes that it's like she wants to persecute Muslims, Christians, so on, and hates people like me because I believe in God. As far as racism. It's no different to me than someone's religion. If someone makes fun of a person because they believe in God then they are no better than someone who doesn't like a person based on color. I don't like either of them. It's why I'm independent and will vote Robert Kennedy. Because I'm sick of all my life republicans and democrats doing nothing but being bought and paid for by the elite rich. While the poor always just get poorer. I voted for Bill Clinton twice, watched the rich get richer, I voted for Bush twice then cause was mad at the Dems and Clinton's... again watched the rich get richer, then I voted for Obama trying democrat again. Guess what, everybody stayed just as poor while the rich got richer... now here I am paying 25 dollars to get my kid a damn happy meal. While CNN is spending two weeks bragging about how billionair corporations have donated all this money to Harris and I'm like yep another politician bought and paid for... seriously honey... we all screwed... don't matter who wins cause it's always the same them politicians in both parties sit up there in Washington and never do nothing to help the everyday people get ahead but somehow manage to keep us all hurting while the rich just keep getting richer. You live long enough you will realize when they get up there in Washington it's all like pro wrestling... it's made up... they act like they hate each other in front of tv cameras and make big speeches but then away from the cameras they off playing golf together or eating lunch together talking about how they got elected promising the people all this and that and laughing at us all. 20 years ago Donald Trump was a golf buddy of Bill Clinton... there is tons of pictures of them together and Hillary also. They all in it together. They just want to keep us all divided fighting about race and the border so on and in the end they screwing us all over. Seriously. I'm not saying that to try and upset you. Just telling you what life has tought me. Also I want to add, we all in this together. The government is screwing all of us with this inflation. Dems and Republicans. As far as I'm concerned they is two races of Americans. The rich and the poor. And honey let me tell you I got a feeling you on the poor side just like me so I ain't got nothing but love and understanding for you. I don't care if you black, white or 75 shades of grey or whatever. Yes I am a white guy... but seriously to me race is you either rich or poor and the 99 percent of us all is poor they just want us all divided. God Bless you honey, stand strong all us poor folks in this together... the rich are the enemy, and the politicians are all just puppets bought with campaign dollars by the filthy rich

He's assuming that black people can only take certain jobs because they're black, because they're "unskilled and dumb". That's what he and his loyal supporters believe in. In his mind, the immigrants are "inferior", so they're taking "inferior jobs" that belong to "inferior people". It's disgusting!

Hmmm... Translation: what he REALLY means is:
" unskilled immigrants are being hired over UNSKILLED Black folks" but we need to give those jobs to "unskilled Black folks (he also means "uneducated") so my Black folk unemployment numbers look good if I'm elected".

Of course, his premise isn't true. Contrary to his "spewage" and fear-mongering about insane asylum refugees (how did they get out, Donnie - they escape?) and drug dealers & criminals (like yourself, Donnie? 34 counts of felonies, sexual assault, tyranny against your own government, etc)... immigrants fill many jobs that American citizens
a) do not wish to do, and

So you’re saying Black people really don’t have jobs and the rest of the nation should not look at them as working men and women? I’m pretty sure the 20 million Black Americans that are in the labor force would be pretty insulted by your racist position. Why in the world would they want to give up their jobs to “unskilled immigrants”. Shouldn’t they as Americans have a higher priority when it comes to gaining employment than some “unskilled immigrants”? It seems to me, that you want to take away all of Black people’s jobs and give them to “unskilled immigrants”. What’s your motive? Do you operate a sweat shop? Are you a slave trader? You play to your audience. Sometimes it backfires. But I think it was pretty clear that audience was hostile to him from the outset.

Because when he was president black people had those jobs, and had the lowest unemployment rate for blacks  of all time . Then when he left, the jobs went to illegal immigrants who were allowed in by the other side. People aren't stupid.

I am assuming that you have darker skin pigments than the majority of folks in America. Yes the comment could be stereotyped racist to the black race. But on the other hand. If certain races in the United States want to sit back and claim that they are somehow suppressed and not allowed to better themselves without putting any effort themselves into a better lifestyle. I am sure that most of the illegals coming into this country are looking for a better life. So they will take whatever jobs that they can get hired for. Thereby taking the jobs that could be filled by any citizen of the United States. . Regardless of religion or race!
