Hanging out with white people, I can tell you white people are still racist as fuck, they just know to hide it. But with a few beers in them, when I’m in a group of white guys, someone INVARIABLY, and completely unprovoked, has to start talking some kinda shit. We just love America and want to “protect the children”!”, lmfao.

And their whole playbook is “accuse the other side of doing all the shit you’re doing”, every accusation is a confession. Apparently the big problem in America is everyone else is oppressing white people, and evil gay people are recruiting your kids, lmfao. And my last point, regarding fake news: FoxNews never seems to match the reality I witness when I leave the house everyday. CNN or MSNBC or whoever have their spin to things, but over the last eight years or so that I’ve paid close attention, they have proven themselves to be MUCH more reliable in terms of accuracy. Always take it with the required grain of salt, but Fox is the only one that got sued for almost $800M because they contributed to lying about the election being stolen. And not for nothing, texts leaked from the discovery process during the legal proceedings showed all of their big three nighttime opinion hosts, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham had texts expressing disdain for Trump, or at least how he was handling the January 6th stuff, but on the same days as those texts they were all on air saying something COMPLETELY different from what their true thoughts apparently were, all in service of protecting Trump’s image in the moment. So right wing media is FULL OF IT, and the stuff on the internet is even worse, holy smokes, don’t EVER get your information from some “independent journalist” on the internet.

I think my major fear and aversion for American government is the influence of Christian Conservatism. Nothing against Christians in a vacuum, but there is a faction of them trying to get into politics and influence the way our society operates.

We’re gonna fix it so good you’ll never have to vote again.” Bruh…. WHAT? I mean, that sure sounds like he has plans to either stick around himself or ensure a MAGA succession plan. Either way, WILD thing to say, and if Harris or any other Democrat was imploring some specific group to vote for them, right wingers would be LOSING. THEIR. MINDS. And you KNOW they would be.

One thing with me: I’m VERY tuned into politics and what’s going on. I spend hours a day while I drive around consuming political news and analysis. Not to sound conceited, but I tested EXTREMELY high on standardized tests growing up, even before I began schooling. And I have an education, in a field that deals with this sort of thing. I’m not saying that means I know everything or I’m always right in my opinions, but I’m very confident in my intelligence, my ability to critical think, and my ability to discern real and fake information, and all of it in between.

So I’m not just Joe Casual Political Commentator here, and I don’t just catch a few sound bytes of Trump on the “liberal news” and say “what a mean man! I hate him!” like a lot of people. I’m not that guy. I’ve done full-rally watch-alongs with some commentators I know and trust, yes, with anti-Trump sentiment, but we’re all gasping or laughing at him at the same time, we don’t wait for a commentator to say what he’s saying is bad and then obediently respond.

But the overall point being I’ve watched A LOT of Trump, plenty of times in context and in it’s entirety, and I still find it appalling. Again, not because the news man told me to, but because my morals and my internal sense of shame prevent me from embracing the things he either says directly, or he doesn’t say it in so many words but he would indirectly influence things I don’t want to see happen, happen, because of some other lunatic he put in a position of power because they kissed his ass enough.

But you’re either being intellectually dishonest or you have a huge blind spot if you think women and trans-women are being treated with equal dignity in the conversation about sports. That’s my problem, again, THE ENERGY. No one seems to care what becomes of trans-women, they just want them out of women’s sports and don’t care where they go, and fuck you for even trying. And Trump himself, when he talks about it in his rallies, as you’d know from watching them in their entirety, has this whole weird routine where he’s pretending to struggle to lift weights, I don’t even really get it, but the point is to be obviously disrespectful of trans women. And I’m happy to see the WNBA having a Bird vs Magic moment with Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, but this is the first time I’ve ever heard it spoken of respectfully, particularly by men. And now I’m supposed to believe that men, especially “ooga-booga, I’m so tough, I’m an alpha male!”-MAGA dudes suddenly care about the integrity of women’s sports? No, of course not. They’re very, very obviously just transphobic, and enjoy having a defensible reason to bully trans people, I’m not stupid.

As far as gay or trans “propaganda” in schools…. the issue I take with this is that…well, first, I don’t think it’s even anywhere nearly as big of a thing as they’re trying to say it is, like there’s drag queen story hour in every kindergarten class, lmao….. but beyond that, the whole attitude behind the objection to it would suggest that there’s something “wrong” or “weird” about being LGBTQ, and that it’s some hazardous outcome humans should avoid, and that it’s in any way “dangerous” or “inappropriate” to the point where it’s some NC-17 rated thing that nobody should know about until adulthood.

We don’t say “Hey, Helen…. don’t tell your first graders that you have a husband, that’s sexually suggestive and might pervert them.“ Treat LGBTQ people exactly the same as we treat straight people. But it’s that characterization of LGBTQ people as a deviation from “normal” that I unequivocally and emphatically reject.

And Trump is found guilty of the SAME EXACT CRIMES Cohen was. Laws are laws. We don’t get to be like “this law is a big deal and gets enforced, this one we don’t really care about because we find it non-threatening.”

The law exists. Cohen broke it. A jury OF CITIZENS has decided Trump also broke it in his direction of Cohen. Cohen went away for a year. If things were fair, so would Trump. But he won’t, because rich and powerful people don’t go to jail in this country except in egregious circumstances.

So he’s already going to catch a break the rest of us wouldn’t. And I don’t know why anyone would celebrate that. I don’t need Trump found guilty, I want him tried like anyone else would be. If he walks, so be it. I don’t like the idea of prison for anybody, I’m not rooting for that. I just want to see everyone held to the same standards. Watching Trump slither out of these things shakes my faith in American justice, and seeing him tried, regardless of outcome, gives me faith.

Also, Stormy Daniels I’m not too worried about. The classified documents are a big deal that the American public should get to hear the facts about. Calling the Georgia elections guy asking for the specific amount of votes he needed, and all the ensuing nefarious bullshit he looks to have pulled with his legal team, that’s a HUGE deal. January 6th stuff…. hard to prove and pin on him legally, but the country should at least hear the facts in a court of law, because that’s also a huge deal, as desperately as the right wing is trying to downplay the whole event, or hilariously claim it was just people in MAGA costumes🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤣🤣🤣 Election interference stuff is the biggest of deals, it’s crazy it hasn’t even expedited more quickly. The civil case…. I heard enough to believe her, and it tracks with everything I thought about Trump even before he was a politician. The guy is just very obviously of poor character. Most politicians have skeletons, but this guy is just trash.

But the one thing I just can’t do anymore is contend with this alternate reality fabricated by MAGA. My last word for an overarching theme is that I want a government that’s guided by universal compassion over absolutely anything else. I want a government that doesn’t make or allow “states’ rights” to allow laws that are in any way oppressive to women, LGBTQ folks, any so-called “minority” racial, ethnic, or religious group, homeless people, immigrants legal or illegal…. if MAGA can promise me that they’ll do that, and prioritize that over gas prices or food prices, or “think of the children!”, or “but Jesus says….”, “come and take muh guhnns, I dare ya!”, or “boycott Bud Light/Disney/Nike/NFL/NBA/etc, etc for showing inclusiveness!”, “get these bums out of the town center!”, or “stand for the anthem or get that son of a bitch of the field”….. if MAGA is selling anything like that, then I’m in. But if they deviate from any of that, I’m forever out. Can’t really put it more clearly than that.

From outside, hearing what Harris's word-salad spouts and what Trumps playground rhetoric is I know for me it would be a simple choice. The only candidate actually addressing the issues your country is facing and talking about how to deal with them is RFK Jr.

The media are terrified of Kennedy because all he does is address the issues. There's no scandal to report and blow up. The Democrats fucked up by not making him the official candidate and getting Biden to endorse him in January - and they know it. The Democrats have always used black people as a political tool after the civil rights movement. A little inconvenient truth- Most mayors, governors, congressmen, and senators that officially opposed the civil rights movement were Democrats. The KKK was 100% Democrats from the beginning until after the civil rights movement. The Republican party is sometimes called "the Grand Old Party". They should call the Democrats "the Grand Wizard Party" or the "Jim Crow Party". 21 Democrat senators voted against the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, while only 7 Republicans did. Democrat Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia was a known member of the KKK. He filibustered the Senate in a last stand attempt to prevent the passing of the 1964 civil rights act. If you read some of the statements he made about black people in the 40's before he was a congressman, you would be appalled. He remained a senator until his death in 2010. Hilary Clinton literally called him her friend and mentor.

The problem is that almost every political contender on the Conservative Christian right, is pro-Israel.
