Well, I suppose the answer to that is fear.

Probably a bit of 'the politicians fallacy'. ie Doing something is better than doing nothing, even if there is not good evidence for it.

A bit of self-flagellation. ie primitively people believe if they punish and brutalise themselves they build up 'good karma' and make amends for their myriad moral wrongs, or something.

What people need for a good immune system:

• Social contact
• A happy environment with low stress and no fear.
• Plenty of fresh air (face masks build up CO2 in the body).
• Plenty of sunshine.
• MIngling with people with 'germs' to keep one's immune system up to scratch.

Because I have cancer. It'll be 37 months on the 9th. And my immune system needs to be protected. I took my vehicle to an auto body shop last sept after a hit and run, and dropped it off. When I went to the rental place I realized I forgot my card for a deposit. I went back for my truck to go get my card. The guy who works at the auto body shop was sitting in my truck. Turned out that was all I needed to catch f*cking covid. He was full blown sniffling. After three years wearing a mask and nothing.
I had five small heart attacks in those 14 days the virus was in my system and stopped when it left me. No other symptoms accept being tired and breathless. So do I wear masks in stores still? I'm not going through that again and I don't care what anyone else thinks.
Lots of people are immune suppressed. Maybe think about that.

I'm sure it was uncontaminated, at the time. My neighbor's entire family got covid in Aug. `19 and all they took to get rid of it was Robitussin CF and Tylenol.
Ok,. in a bit. No injections needed although, there IS a cure than can cure even stage 4 cancer within 48 hours but, it's only available in Australia. That, you'd need to take an injection right into the cancer cells.
Mine only requires mixing two ingredients you can get at the store.

Actually a lot of people with allergies and different health issues wore face masks before covid, and they still would... also people spend several years listening to the CDC, Dr. Faucci, their own doctors, and every screaming Democrat politician that they needed to wear masks or they would die. Those are the lunatics. The mask is one of a number of ways to tell who's for the country and who's not.
Face nappies, oddly coloured or cut hair, loads of piercings and tattoos, flying rainbows, girls with hairy arm pits and/or legs and/or shaved head, willfully grossly overweight, usually ugly as fuck, by design.. all VERY good clues they're communists!

Some people have compromised immune systems and have to anyway, even before Covid, and now with all the "new" old diseases coming in from illegal immigrants you could easily become infected with a childhood disease such as mumps where your vaccine wore off decades ago.
