There are teachings or thoughts within Judaism which have led to Zionism; that Jewish people are 'special', 'God's Chosen', and the Levant is theirs because their God has promised it to them. Jewish people are not a race, but through their religion and their religious leaders they have been misled to believe they are.
But that doesn't change anything about the fact that Judaism itself is harmless. Orthodox Jewish people believe in a Messianic Prophecy. Orthodox Jewish people won't do anything themselves, their religion specifically prohibits that, and religiously pray and worship for their Messiah to come to fulfil their prophecy. There is no harm in that... but as soon as a small group of people, extremists, start changing narratives and take matters into their own hands those teaching and thoughts become 'problematic'.
Same is with Patriotism; Patriotism is not bad; it's a foreign concept to me, but I understand that some people feel healthy pride in their country. Israel is showing more restraint than I would. People die in war. Were there no civilians at Nagasaki? Hiroshima? Dresden? Tokyo? This back and forth has gone on long enough.
