"Good" is something that almost everybody understands. Is it better to give somebody eternal paradise or eternal torture? There's really no need to try in complicate that, you already know the answer.

SJWs adds or removes nuance depending on what benefits their argument. So yes absolutely.
They say woke is a meaningless word, yet they still understand it as the past tense of the word wake, as in I woke up this morning.

DEI is a racist term, except when people / companies SJWs like use it.

Whenever someone they dislike start using a term or make a new term, it becomes a buzzword. Woke for example.

Yeah, it's so annoying and too much nuance muddles a discussion to the point where it gets derailed. I believe this is deliberate.

Of course its deliberate. You just have to do your darnest to not let them if you are arguing with them. If they are wrong and know it, they try to change the solution (or the their original argument) thats one of the things they do. Which is why one should not argue directly with SJWs with any sort of power, just call them out.

It is most definitely unnecessarily inserted into some conversations, but is absolutely necessary in other conversations. I mean, there are people that believe it's good to force humans into cages over saying things that offend certain people, and there are others who believe that it is good to allow people to say things that offend upper hierarchy identity groups. This is a matter of nuance, because there are so many people on both sides of the debate.

Pretty much every political topic is a debate of "your ideas harm society, mine help it" regardless of what political side/corner you're on. Hell, there was a dude on here the other day that was advocating for mass exile/genocide if it is for the greater good of the majority of society. And he was adamant about it too. Said something like "you have to break a few eggs." We shouldn't need nuance in these two topics I mentioned, but that's our reality.

I think it's rooted in people not wanting to think anymore because there is no sense of anxiety that you might look stupid if you say something incredibly dumb. You know, cuz everybody just keeps doubling down and rage quitting.
