Elderly care, lmao. I have a half-brother in his 70s with special needs (actually in the red tape process of becoming his legal co-guardian), so I’m taking he and my dad out for the day so they can spend time together. My bro loves bowling, so that’s probably the plan. I have to purposely lose, which is actually harder than you’d think😂 And then I think we’ll go for lunch. We usually go to Cape Cod where my bro grew up, and I’m hoping it’ll be less of a nightmare now that summer vacation season is over…. but people still come in the late summer and early fall, so we’ll see how the traffic goes.
I play pick-up hockey on Friday nights, so I have that tonight to kick things off, but it’s a late night skate, we get out at 11:30, and it’s quite a ways from home, so I don’t really get home til 1:00-1:30, and then I still need to eat and take a shower…. usually get to bed around 4 or 5 AM, so Saturdays are kind of a wash for me, lmao. I sneak in some yard work and groceries, but that’s about it. Usually make steaks for my dad and I, so that’ll be going down too.
So, I’m pretty booked up. A few of my friends are watching Week 1 of the NFL season at one of my buddies’ house, but I won’t be able to make it. Had the choice of taking my bro out on Saturday and just be a zombie on very little sleep, or going Sunday and just catching the Patriots game on DVR later. Probably would rather watch the game with the boys, but these outings with my bro are important to my dad, and at 92, I want them to get in all the hang-outs they can.
Yeah, my dad was married before, had his first kid at 21, then another a few years later. But he didn’t marry my mother til he was my age, and I came a couple years later, just beat the buzzer, haha. My dad was 47 and my mom was 41 when I was born. So I didn’t grow up with my bros, and the one with special needs has been in a state-funded care program my whole life, so I just saw them on holidays and whatnot. And the other brother, I’ve really only been with in person maybe like 20 times. So, not a huge part of my life, but with my dad aging, I want to be more involved for when he’s gone. The other brother is a good enough guy, but lives out of state and is just generally a space cadet I wouldn’t trust to get a pizza order right, lmao.
Fun fact: he was very possibly RFK Jr’s plug back in the 70s😂😂😂 He was friends with the Kennedy kids because “he knew where to get them drugs”, which sounds like a cleaned up way to say he was their coke dealer, lmfao

Trainstation, then train straight (near straight) to my bestie, well straight, still 4hrs trip. If no delay, which happen quite often on the french rail. Because strikes and all, usual in France, we love doing that, a lot, lol. I should have visited her much earlier but "life" stopped me from doing that. So, I'm probably 3 months late, but I will manage to finally join. See her, evidently, also her new house she bought, her kids etc. For a few days in a quite remote location. I think there are 3000 souls there. Really not my style of town, way too small, but then I don't go there for the village party.
Also, the village's name is the name of a fruit. Useless fact.
Hopefully staying home and resting up. I was annoyed that i didn't get to enjoy my 3day weekend last week. This weekend i ain't tryna do JACKSquat. But i may go see Brandy’s new movie with that crazy ass mother in law
Cleaning the house, and then our parish picnic is this weekend, so we'll be going to that. Then Mass on Sunday. There will probably be some other projects happening tomorrow. We'll see.
Going to get my hair done with my mom tomorrow morning. Then taking my little brother to go see Beetlejuice 2. Sunday will just be a lazy clean the house day
Just relaxing I’ve had a tiering week with being hormonal so I need plenty sleep as I’ve not been able to this week with this period it’s been a nightmare
Well this’ll be strange, but I’m just rearranging my boxing glove collection 🥊 and honestly? I wish I were buying more gloves and waiting for them to come. I haven’t seen many gloves that have caught my eye lately. The ones that have are in terrible condition. Though, I like vintage gloves the most, so it’s expected that they’re going to be in rough shape. One’s that are in good condition are hard to find. But, I digress.
Supposed to go to a foodie soft opening event and another big event, but cancelling plans to just focusing on studying and other schoolwork unfortunately 📚
Attending my cousin’s wedding on Saturday. On Sunday Im probably gonna be doing breathing exercises and prep for first day at work cause Im nervous af.
Sleeping in lol I didn’t get much sleep last weekend. I would install my new AC unit but I don’t have the money to buy all the materials I need to install it until next weekend
I had a defensive pistol shot competition, no prize just experience and fun. Got to try out my new action camera to get FOV footage of myself. I didn't do as well as I liked. I hit 2 hostage targets during it 😞
