Why is Kamala Harris the only one smiling at the 9/11 memorial?

At this year's 9/11 Memorial Remembrance, why is Kamala Harris the only one smiling? She also was the only one waving at people. Whether you like her or not, is that the correct way for a possible future President to pay respects to the 3000 people who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks?

She wasn't the only one smiling, they were posing for a photograph, and Trump was smiling too, as was Schumer, Biden and JD Vance, (before and after he lowered his head while he was lightly smiling, but didn't smile as much as the other's). So someone must have said something funny. That photo you found has been cropped to show something out of context, making it look like she alone was smiling. That is not true. What I don't understand about politicians is given the world's cameras are on them constantly in public and they have advisors on etiquette and protocol, why do they constantly do stuff like this? Surely they must know it's a gift horse for the opposition. It's almost like they believe they've reached a stage where they no longer have to behave appropriately and it's a show of power.

Is this the way to pay the respects of the people who lost many loved ones at this site? Well, if you look at the entire clip and not just at her smiling--you can see that she was smiling at something Chuck Schumer said to her, and waving back at people waving at her. You can also see from this clip--that Trump was also "smiling" and mouthing "Thank you" to people talking to him.

I'm wondering why no one here mentioned (that I saw) anything about the way Trump posed for pictures with his supporters at a sacred place where no pictures should be taken-- Arlington Nat'l Cemetery? That was distasteful and rude.
