for the undecided voters, they just need an overall view of who they were and what they stood for. as undecided voters, I doubt that'd fall for emotional manipulation otherwise they wouldn't be undecided

from their perspective Trump may sound like a rambling madman whereas Kamala is dodging question after question with "answers" that sound good on paper. Trump at least answers his questions

What jumped out at me in his answer was that he said: "And nobody on the other side was killed. Ashli Babbitt was shot...". A clear admission that he knows the mob was his and on his side, as if we needed it after the testimony about him wanting people allowed into the Elipse with weapons.

Then there were the lies about the people convicted of crimes regarding January 6th, we saw what they did. More lies about immigrants, and that "She was the border czar." (a label placed on her by Republicans, which is not true, the head of HHS is in charge of the border). Followed by lies about BLM (a couple of blocks is not "a big percentage of the city of Seattle", and Minneapolis is still there), where there were hundreds of prosecutions despite the protests being far less uniformly violent (and without any intent to overturn the government) and involving 25 million Americans.

Not a big deal. For those that the debate was actually aimed at this one did its job in Trumps favor. It was intended for those voters that wanted to know what Kamala Harris stood for and her plan to get there. In stead of giving the people that she chooses to bash Trump which the voters were already tired of hearing about. She show the undecided voters nothing and that helps Trump big time.
