It was a combination of the CIA and MIC that took out Kennedy. Not only did he want to dismantle the CIA, he started withdrawing troops from Vietnam. Wasn't long after he started withdrawing troops from Vietnam he was assassinated, and after his assassination, the Vietnam started ramping up.
