At this point it feels like off-duty cops working his security detail would be a better pick. I'm confused as to why he isn't using a private detail rather than the secret service. Granted you could call the left responsible as they are in charge of the executive branch, and he is running against second in charge there.

The Left has a lot to answer for. Whether they are aware or not, the Left uses the Marxist framework of an oppressed class and an oppressing class.

There is inherent violence in this framework because implicitly 'something needs to be done about the oppressors' is underlying this. Somebody actually doing something about it is not far behind.

If a politician calls on another to be eliminated it might be intended as hyperbole but they have culpability/responsibility if someone hears it as a call to action.

It doesn't get more complicated than that.
