Yes it's OK. Here's the thing. I'm the customer and you as a batista are providing a service and beverage, your coffee shop or company is selling me beverages and food. If I'm not getting good service and decent coffee I simply won't buy from you. That's how you should treat rude food servers and companies. These baristas should wake up and look what happened at McDonald's and other big fast food corps where a computer screen replaced a lot of staff. A barista's job can be basically done by an automatic coffee machine. Think of it, you use a touch screen to order your pumpkin spice jumbo latte and the machine makes it for you, no minimum wage to pay for the company and no batista to tip for the customer.

Baristas are men as well. What would happen at your place of work if you didn't do the job your employer hired you to do? I mean in this day and age good hardworking employees can lose their jobs due to the company downsizing over losing profits
