What are Your thoughts about customers?

As a cashier most of them are idiot assholes. They think they are slick with their rudeness and attitude some say hi and thanks. Well you’re a fake ass bitch. You spend the most of the interaction being rude and rushing me. So fck you bastards. go fuck yourself. You’re a piece of shit. Thanks isn’t fooling me.

The rude ones can linger at times, but for the most part they’re just people trying to get through their day. I don’t mind those folks, and I’m sure plenty of them have worked in customer service and know when not to be an asshole. Those are the majority, the assholes are minorities, but they are a very loud, unhappy, and unwelcome minority.

I worked in customer service too and share your sentiment. The "customer is always right" mentality created this. If cashiers just said "fuck it" and started putting assholes in their place, they would realize they can't have their way and would treat people with more respect

In other countries people probably don’t act this way. They actually treat service workers with respect. Instead we have rich entitled Karen’s and brats running around in America

Not really, I guess it depends where. In many places in Europe it's customer service employees who are rude for no reason.
But if the customers ARE more respectful, it's because they know the cashiers aren't gonna put up with their crap

There are always two sides to every story, but only in customer service. As for the cashier sometimes we all are having a stressful time. The people who should be (whatever you like) are the shoplifters, the know it’s all , self righteous fools, and the “I didn’t do that”

I’m trying to not take it personal. Today I had a bunch of this happening at once and I got overwhelmed. I think I have adhd and Asperger’s so I get overstimulated and once that happens I get emotionally overwhelmed and. It can turn into me being in a bad sad mood from then on. And people being rude and pressuring me is just adding more stress.
