I like a customer, help?

Anonymous
Hi. I work at a restaurant and I’ve seen this guy twice now. The first time he was super nice and let me pick the food for him since he’s never been there, so I did. We shared a few laughs and conversations. Two-three weeks went by and I saw him again last night during my shift. He walked in with a girl, so I thought maybe that was his girlfriend.

Later on while I was preparing his food he told me OUT OF THE BLUE thag they work together, now why would you say that randomly if not to make sure that I know he’s single? He also paid too much and refused to take the change (it’s not common to tip people in my country) now I’m starting to like this guy and I think he likes me, but what do I do from here? I can’t just ask him hey what’s your social media without making it weird? Or can I?
Updates:12 minby the way I didn’t point out that he paid too much cause “I like money” no it’s just not something people would do around here unless you like that person? He also says bye everytime he leaves, which a regular customer around here wouldn’t do
