Why couldn’t we pick a better candidate than Trump?

If I had to guess right now, gun to my head, I don’t think he’s going to win., I’m not a fan of Trump. But I disagree with virtually everything Kamala believes, and I think she would be a national disgrace as president. I would be ashamed of this country if she were the commander in chief. We’re talking about a person who was shoehorned in and did not even have to win a primary. This has never happened before in American history. there’s at least a legit convention fight or something. They anointed her.

It was understood among democrats that Kamala was Joe's successor. Right wing media has spent the last 5 years telling us he could drop dead at any second, after all - and the right's whole thing for the last 3 decades has been whinning that no one is paying any attention to them. So, we listened.

But, I suppose right wingers could just be confused because they forgot it isn't common to try to have your vice president hanged, so they were genuinely caught off guard by Kamala being Joe's successor.

I was not a fan either in 2016. I always thought he was way too full of himself. I did not know how he was going to be president and run a billion dollar company. But voting for Hillery was off the table.

Trump did talk about some of the things I have been talking about for decades like bringing manufacturing back to America ans doing a better job keeping illegal aliens out. I figured if he got one or two things done it would be better than Ibsmas apology tour. He did a lot better than I expected and I saw a different side of him that really loved America. I really hope he gets elected and puts the country back on the right track

Trump runs the party now. I don't like voting for Democrats either but I'll hold my nose and do it until he's gone and the party is about actual conservative values and not loyalty to Trump.

The real question is there's over 570 something elected Federal officials that are getting paid over $207,000 a year then there's over two to three thousand more regular politicians and not one of them dare to stand up to be great not one why are they even in that position they're in right now that's what I'm mad about we're supposed to have the greatest country but we don't have no great people oh yeah I forgot it's because of our schooling no matter if your Republican or Democrat you're doing away with teachers you're not paying them you're not feeding the kids if they're hungry look at Japan and China what they do for their kids on a scale to 1 to 10 they're 10 and we are one if that even. The good old boy system has to go the time for politicians all getting rich and just scamming everybody they have to go we've been bought and sold so many times it's unreal and we just keep going further and further downhill

I'd say as a foreigner looking at Amerixa's political system from afar - it's all two party systems of major parties and I guess that's like the old comedian George Carlin had a gimmick just like that about "where are all the smart people of conscience, smart candidates - we dont have that" lol 😂😆 and lines like "it's a big club and you ain't in it" you know.
Much like people always say politicians are politicians negatively lol 😆😆😆😆

former Republicans hate Trump because he cleaned the swamp of their corruption, former Republicans being the power hungry warmongers like George Bush and Dick Cheney who started the Iraq War for no reason and killed many of our soldiers

Trump is his own man and not part of the establishment that wants to uphold the status quo, that's why they hate him because he's shifting the Republican Party away from it's warmongering roots
