Considering both assassins have been conservatives I think a better question would be why they want to solve problems with violence and why we should entertain their desire to be armed.

It is not super surprising when you think about it however. Putting aside how the 2nd amendment is all about solving your political and personal problems with the application of guns, we have to acknowledge that Trump has been firing his supporters up, making them emotional and motivated to go out and change the world by themselves.

That means we now have a group of people, who are angry and armed and highly motivated to "save" their country from any number of problems and attackers. And the one thing they have in common is Trump. If he upsets them like for example having the wrong stance on Russias invasion of Ukraine or something else random which they just happen to care about personally then Trump is suddenly on the wrong end of their gun.

This political violence against Trump is entirely of his own doing, and I have said as much since before he even became president.

in Trump's case, assassinating him does just that

and NO the 2 assassins were not conservatives. liberalism is the source of all mental illnesses and these 2 assassins happened to be infected with it
