First up I am not an American.
I am nonetheless highly concerned that the US is losing the essential fundamental of democracy :- the peaceful transfer of political governance and the legitimacy of change to candidates of another political party with opposing views.
There seems to be strong beliefs that the 'other side' is illegitimate currently. That only one side is legitimate is close to a totalitarian state.
I hope my American cousins can step back from this abyss.
I would like to think this link, finding 1/3 regrets that Trump was not assassinated, is badly ill founded. Eric Kaufman appears well credentialed though.

I think the US should be doing more about this than they currently are. It's almost as if those in power don't care and are just letting these assassination teams do whatever they want. I blame the current administration.

  I hope you're wrong as well. I like to think that after the 2020 election people expect it to be rigged so they have their eyes more open now than before. And as for Trump's safety, I believe God is keeping an eye on him. God has big plans involving Trump.
