What if January 6th had changed the 2020 election, who would the candidates be in 2024?

It's interesting to think what would be different if history had gone a different way.

Think about the January 6th event, and consider an alternate timeline... that did cause the 2020 election to be changed, with Trump serving a second term.

In that alternate timeline, who would the candidates be now, in the 2024 election?

Well, Trump certainly wouldn't be there because he would have already had his 2 terms. My guess is that it would have been DeSantis vs. Harris.

The corporate Democrat establishment LOVES Harris. I think it's important for anyone who wants to vote Harris this election to understand that: big business, those megacorps you despise so much, LOVE HER, and there's a reason for that.

I firmly believe that the only reason Biden's presidency lasted as long as it did was because the establishment saw how poorly Kamala was received.

There would be no election or candidates. Project 2025 would take care of that and not allow people to vote anymore. Trump said it himself: " Vote for me, it will be the last time you need to vote." That went viral, in case you missed it.

Thank God someone with sense took that box containing the voting validations for the states. That is something they were after, in order to change the presidential election to their liking. Democracy as we know it would be gone.

Would there even be an election in 2024? Trump would have changed the rules so much to make it near impossible for his opponents to win and even if they did we know he wouldn't accept the result and order another riot.

Even if there was an election it would no better than one of Putins farces. The dems wouldn't put a serious candidate up against him, just a token one. Keep the big guns in reserve for when an assassin takes him out

@purplepoppy You may not be aware that a US President can only serve 2 terms, as required by the 22nd Amendment to the US Constitution. That was passed after Roosevdkt (FDR) was elected to a 4th term, during which he died in office.
