Why is it that anytime you have a different opinion to a leftist you are automatically classed as "far right"?

I've seen right wing people do this too, and it's always from people that are so far to the extremes that the vast majority of people are on the the other side of them. And everyone ends up looking like an extremist to them. They hold their beliefs to such an extreme, dogmatic degree, that anyone who sees things in any way differently is somehow the extremist, themselves. They view the world in black and white and are incapable of seeing anything with nuance. Except of the occasional "see, I'm not crazy or an extremist" pre-recorded, fake-nuance examples they have on queue that they use to mask their extremism. They mischaracterize any opposing beliefs as being unfathomable and part of some deeper, fundamentally flawed ideology that their opposition must we a worshipper of; but really they're just projecting their own ideological worship.

Most of the arguments people use against the left is completely insane which makes it an extremist belief plus how they are generally made by people on the right wing.

Leftist: "I believe in the universal right called Bodily Autonomy outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations and International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights which is also adopted by the United Nations as well as the 4th amendment of the American constitution which gives a legal, moral and logical protection for the womans right to choose to have an abortion."

Insane counter point: "No. A human life is sacred and the life of the fetus must be given protection from abortion even at the risk of both the fetus and mother dying as a result which has resulted in a skyrocketing infant and female mortality rate in every state that has enacted this policy as well as contributed to the declining life expectancy of Americans compared to the increasing life expectancy of every other country on earth."

Quite frankly I could continue to explain why banning abortion is stupid, counter productive and based on ignorance but that is sort of besides the point. It is an objectively insane position to hold and yet it is depressingly mainstream in USA.

Could have different reasons, for one people like to just throw random buzzwords at you when they don't agree with you. Or maybe your opinion in these imstances was the ones usually expressed by the far right.
