Hasn't Arabia or the Arab countries always been Islamic and before that something else like Egyptian religions, cat worship, sphinx, cat man, etc etc?
Anyways I for one am not Muslim and I for one would say that there's some religious themes of Islam like "behaviour or dress style" that's rather humbling, you know, dress in a non provocative way in public, to avoid unwanted attention, abstain from alcohol (though I for one couldn't be Muslim as I like pigs and pig products like bacon and roast mmm) 😋😋 🐷🐖

Probably more good. Religion gets used for a lot of evil which is true, but it also gets blamed for even more. The middle east was at the cutting edge of science, culture and human development for a very long time and also were the foundation for the renaissance that is the foundation for modern society and much of the development at that time were specifically driven by religious dogma.
