Over the last 5 years gold is up 80%. What does that mean? The value of American dollars has been cut by almost half. If you were selling a product, and the dollars you were getting were worth half, would you raise prices? Or go broke. A corporation has to make money. Making a profit is not illegal or immoral. Is there greed involved, sure? Humans by their nature are selfish and greedy. Do you work for free? Or do you want to make as much money as possible to compensate you for your valuable time?

My point that Gold, recognized around the world as an asset with real value has gone up 80% in five years. You need almost twice as many paper dollars to buy one ounce today as five years ago. This is the world voting against the dollar as a store of value. If the BRIC+ countries are successful in displacing the dollar as the reserve currency of the world, your dollar charts will be meaningless. And we will suffer for the behavior of the Professional Political Overseer Class.
