With as bad as Biden and Harris have been, and Wallz being a buffoon; I think most Democrats would wonder why the party elitest didn't let RFK Jr or Gavin Newsom have a go at it.

Based on polling and research I've done during the primaries, came to the conclusion that RFK was the only Democrat, that was capable of defeating Trump. Even in polling Newsom lost to Trump. Had the DNC run a legit primary, RFK would have handily defeated Biden to win the nomination to go on to defeat Trump in the general election. But Democrats played stupid and not only rigged the primary for Biden so he could step down and give the nomination to Harris, they actively sabotaged RFK's campaign to the point he dropped out and joined Trump.

Newsom might not be able to beat Trump, but he would have a better chance than Biden or Harris.

I don't think he would have a better chance, remember when Newsome and DeSantis held a debate? That was Democrats testing the water with Newsome as a possible replacement for Biden, so apparently Democrats felt he was worse then Harris.
