Why is the real reason people don’t like Kamala Harris?

My friend and her mom are Trump supporter and they’ve been telling me that Kamala Harris has been lying about things and she’s toxic. She said they Trump had this country really good until Biden fucked it up. I just nodded my head and said okay. I didn’t wanna say anything because they’re Trump supporters and said “Yeah sure”. I can’t stand Trump.

It’s wild to me to see how much flak she takes. I have some qualms with her prosecutorial record, but at least she’s seemingly a serious person, as opposed to Trump. When people take Trump seriously, that’s an instant “sanity check” failure to me.

The simple answer to your question is: “they were told to.” Whether it was their peers or social media or FoxNews or Trump himself, they were told to hate her. “Why” doesn’t really matter, they’ll make that up as they go. MAGA is a cult of personality. You go along or you get shunned.

The more complex answer is just that Americans broadly have poor character, in a variety of ways, but almost everyone seems to suck on some level, lmao. Some of the manifestations of poor character are greed and bigotry. MAGA plays to that crowd, it’s their favorite song. “99-cent gas for my shiny new pickup truck in my driveway in my all-white neighborhood!”

Not everyone in MAGA is racist or homophobic or misogynistic…. but every last one of them is ok with it. Thats kind of a big part of the problem, this perception that they can put their hands up and say “what? I just want cheaper gas? I don’t care either way about abortion rights.”, when their pursuit of perceived cheaper gas would result in a roll-back of women’s rights in this country.

It’s what you DON’T care about that’s an even bigger problem than what you DO care about. They package the bullshit along with “lower taxes!”, and selfish fucks just go for it, without regard to how some other aspect of the agenda is very harmful to others, in a way that doesn’t even register with them. It’s that blindness to the full picture, whether unintentional or deliberate, that’s causing a lot of the problems. People vote for themselves, and not with “everyone” in mind…. and that’s FUCKED.

Most of the Harris hate seems unwarranted, unless you have fucked up morals and values. And any legitimate criticisms pale in comparison to even the least of Trump’s warts.

Most of it seems based on her laugh🙄😂 Or the most hilarious one is when they call her a “far left Marxist” lmao…. if the left has any knocks on her, it’s mostly that she’s not progressive enough, and she’s too much of a corporate Democrat, so I just literally have no idea what they’re talking about.

They talk about “identity politics”, yet it’s only them talking about “she was Indian, and now she’s black?”🤦‍♂️ Never once have heard her strongly campaigning on anything about her demographically, other than coming from the middle class, to show she can relate, as opposed to silver-spoon Trump. He tries to make a thing about it, says she never worked at McDonald’s, had that dumb stunt where he worked in one for a few minutes the other day. We literally live in the dumbest timeline right now🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

It all seems very baseless, or at least minor, and meanwhile, everyone’s kind of sloughing off that Trump tried to disrupt democracy last time around, like that shouldn’t be unequivocally disqualifying. I really don’t know what’s wrong with our people, it seems hopeless, we’re so, SO fucking stupid and easily manipulated.

I'm proud to say I'm a supporter of Kamala Harris, a woman of race and a woman of color. She may not be our first Female President, but I hope God does give us one come year 2028. People are wishing in one hand and hoping in the other. But just wait to Trump gets elected, it won't be a good time, but they can't say I warned them so.

Well she contradicts herself with the most simple statements, creates stories to make herself look more for the people and also copies other people's ideas for votes, just recently trump decided to go on a famous streamers stream and all of a sudden Kamala started contacting famous streamers to be on their stream, she is legit harassing them at this point cause she's trying to comtact them several times and the streamers are just stressed out 😂

I can't stand either Trump or Harris. But Harris is a useless politician who has literally done nothing useful for the last four years. The border crisis is 100% on her. She is not qualified to be POTUS. The ONLY reasons she was selected and VP is because she's a woman and she's black. And those are the only reasons she is the dem nominee for POTUS.

We have no good choices in this election, but Harris is NOT the lesser of the two evils.

Having a female PM (as Australia has had), elected by MPs, is the equivalent as the Speaker of the House in the US, which has been held by a female... Nancy Pelosi. And Australia's female head of state was Queen Elizabeth II, royalty from the other side of the world.
