Because her campaign (and the Democratic Party in general) has at least been, at best, passive-aggressively anti-man. They've been the party of "girl power". Even if it's neither their intent nor desire, that's still how it's perceived and they've had no apparent interest in or urgency to fix that image until the last two months. The "white dudes for Harris" ad, the Sam Elliott ad, and now their latest "I'm a man" commercial have been some of the worst, most insanely stupid and tone-deaf attempts at reaching out to men that I've ever seen. It's like a comedy movie about a woman trying to disguise herself as a man, except now it's real life. And not funny.
