The problem with the "Trump is a fascist" argument is that under fascism, the government places very strict controls on the economy. Trump doesn't favor government controls over the economy, generally speaking. You can't just pick and choose parts of the definition that fit your purposes. That's like saying every time you have a runny nose you have the flu because a runny nose is a symptom of the flu. The problem being that the rest of the symptoms don't fit.
