Do you celebrate Halloween? If so how do you celebrate? If not why not?

I used to. Started out with trick or treating as a kid, then went out to parties in slutty costumes as a teen and young adult, then started celebrating simply by decorating and giving out candies to trick or treaters - but now I don’t even bother. Halloween isn’t the same as it used to be, you don’t really feel the “spooky yet magical vibes” anymore these days. I don't know if it’s just me getting old but I don’t even see many trick or treaters anymore…

Halloween is a celebration created on top of other special days for older cultures... if you know or remember them... like mentioned in some other questions Samhain...

Didn’t care much for it growing up


But for the last few years I’ve had some of the most fun parties on Halloween
So now I make it s point to celebrate it even if it’s just an excuse to dance and drink with other people while wearing silly costumes

Yes. Just some of the old observances such as pumpkin lanterns, lighting a candle in the video, a vigil, costumes and candy for trick or treaters.

I don't celebrate it because it's not a festival here in my country. Here I heard of All Saints day and all Souls Day. I like to pray for the deceased on those days since last November:).
