Just came across a question where the asker stated they were blocking every single Trump voter, which isn't shocking in my opinion, just sad they let their hate for Trump consume every second of their life. I am not surprised - Trump has done many things to engender hatred. That said, I don't personally hate him; on the contrary, I feel badly for him. He is a man with untreated mental illness that has caused he and others a lot of unneeded misery. He deserved and deserves kindness and to be treated for his problems, not hated.

Not going to mention names, but a user here left because their long time friend went off the deep end because they weren't obessed with hating Trump. I myself don't hate Trump as a person, just don't like the things he does and stand for. It's OK to dislike Trump, but some people take it to the an unhealthy extreme. If a friend can't handle you having differing opinions, then they aren't a true friend. Lost a long time friend on X for trying to get along with everyone, it is saddening, but in the end they weren't a true friend.
