Want voter id required then make legal legitimate IDs free for citizens. Many people can't afford them that are legal citizens. Even a renewal ID can cost too much for some older retired Americans and that shouldn't dissuade them from voting.

In 2020 for ex there were 1176 causes of voter id fraud (1018 criminal convictions) and 158,429,631 votes. That means that voter id fraud consisted of 0.00000742285% of the votes. Stop believing trump. Most were convicted.
