I didn't see THOSE, but I saw the commercial that Julia Roberts made, now your post makes me think there IS something bigger going on here. I found it troubling that the Liberal media genuinely couldn't comprehend why the right was triggered by this. They're saying it's an issue of men controlling their wives. Why would you marry someone you have to hide your political views from? It definitely seems to be promoting scamming and the idea that women should trick men into marrying them for whatever reasons but hiding who they truly are. it's very troubling if people genuinely believe this is okay. The whole thing is stupid though because I would imagine if you're marrying someone, you don't need to hide your political views from them.

I have been married for 52 years and my wife's vote has never been any of my business. In most years we discuss controversial issues but she has a right to her vote as do I. I do not tell her what to do unless she ask. And my suggestions are taken into consideration but certainly not adhered to. Women's rights have come a long way since ancient times when women were discarded when they could no longer produce children. I hate to see it backslide. I taught human anatomy and pathology. I have seen both sides of the abortion issue. I have performed autopsies on child abuse victims and I have processed products of conception at the surgical pathology table. Neither is more sad than the other.
