Rashida Tlaib refused to endorse genocide, actively spoke out against it, is a woman of color, a Democrat, IN MICHIGAN, and got 70% of the vote.

She lost in every way. The Democratic Party failed at everything this round. No excuses like the Electoral College, no "if we stuck with Joe Biden," no "but if people were smart enough to know better."

We failed the American people.

We, as any left-leaning party, have to do better. The status quo is not an option anymore. We have to push the limits, even if it means hurting people's feelings. This neoliberal bullshit isn't going to cut it, and people are going to be hurt—hell, they've been hurting because of it.

Like the statistics here show, the fight is worth fighting for, but we need to grow it on a national level.

Harris didn't lose because of her race and gender. She lost because she was a horrible candidate with no qualifications who spent the last 4 years doing absolutely nothing, and in fact being hidden away by the DNC because any time she spoke she embarrassed the fuck out if her party.

The only relevance of her race and gender in all of this is that she only was chosen as Biden's running mate BECAUSE of her race and gender.
