The stock market had a boost following Trump's election because of the surge of Trump and Elon Musk related stock, like Tesla, cryptocurrencies, Truth social, Trump's business ventures and so forth. Energy firms and prison operators also experienced a surge, while renewable energy fell because of Trump's climate-change-denying and unsustainable lust for oil. Since the stock market is all about investments, it's no real surprise that Trump's favored sectors of the economy went up when Trump was declared the winner of the election.

Also, Trump is one of those politicians who like to deregulate banks and lower taxes which is by no means the garantee of a great economy. On the contrary. It just means that investors anticipate that THEY will benefit from Trump's stupid economical policies that allows them to keep hoarding huge amounts of money while giving almost nothing back in taxes. Plainly said, the rich are sleeping soundly since Trump's election because they're confident that they'll keep getting richer, with even less obstacles getting in their way. The gap between the rich and the poor will keep getting bigger but that doesn't matter to most of them.

Investors know that there will probably be a raise in both inflation and deficit with Trump's tariffs and tax cuts for the rich, which are his only two solutions for the economy, really.

China will never want to be friends with the US unless they get what they want out of such a relationship. They fully expect an even more strained relationship with the US and more inflation-inducing tariffs (from both sides) that impacts both their economy, the US economy and the world's economy. They know that Trump is an unpredictable baboon that cannot be reasoned with. There's no talking to him.

The Hamas doesn't want to talk nor does it intend to cease their operations. For the moment being, they'll keep their fight going and wait see what trump will do because he promised to end that war within 24 hours if elected. Of course they don't believe that. They might be asshole terrorists, but they're not as dumb as American voters. What trump is most likely to do is to back Israel financially, expanding and prolonging the war, with more deaths and instability in the middle east. Palestinian politicians still want the war to stop, which is what they have wanted since the beginning.

Just because trump will allow US oil companies to ramp up their production beyond their wildest dreams, doesn't mean that the rest of the world is as insane and stupid as trump is when it comes to climate change and oil production.

You have to remember that, trump, being the incompetent bully that he is, as far as world trade is concerned, will impose tariffs on imported goods from Europe, and Europe will in turn impose retaliatory tariffs, as they should. It won't necessarily be a good deal for them to buy US oil and it doesn't mean that their consumption of oil will increase, unless most country in Europe elects a climate change denier in the following years.

The more complex reality:
No inflation means a 20% raise!!! We're rich!

Economists agree that, on the contrary, inflation will start to rise up again if trump plans to go along with his economical policies that includes tariffs on trade with other nations. Trump was bad for the economy during his first term, and I don't think that it will be any different this time.

Under Biden, the inflation has increased significantly because of trump's first term policies and because of the pandemic, which was grossly mismanaged and uselessly prolonged by the orange idiot. However, inflation has stabilized and is starting to decrease because of Biden's administration sound management: something that would probably not have happened, had trump been in office for the last 4 years.
