How do you feel about Trump picking Tulsi Gabbard for director of National Intelligence?

I am super excited. I can't believe it. It shows that Trump has gone totally off the reservation. He has learned a lot over the past 8 years.
A former Democrat who had the courage to go against the popular narrative and speak truth, even at personal cost? A female. Lt. Colonel war veteran of color who spent 12 months in Iraq?
She has seen war close up, unlike the vast majority of war hawks.
We already know that she has brains, guts and principles. I think she is far more qualified for the job than any of the swap monsters who stalk the halls of DC.
She won't be duped or cowed by anybody.
The deep state neocons, both Dems and Republicans, are shaking in their boots. John Bolton is shitting himself.
I like Tulsi in general. I don't like that she may be hidden off camera as that role isn't so prominent and what she learns, has to be very careful what she talks about.
I'm really not sure what her qualifications are for such a role, but she is a strong personality and character, she's solid. It will be interesting to see how her views evolve of Russia and China and Iran. If she starts shifting more neocon... then maybe the left/neocons were right all along...
Really not sure of the fit with her experience.
I wish her luck walking into the cesspool...
HALLELUJAH THANK YOU GOD PRAISE JESUS
I actually like Tulsi, she's a tough cookie and he made the right pick for this one in all honesty
I'm not sure that's the right department for her but, at least, I'm glad she landed a position in President Trump's cabinet.

I don't know a lot about the role itself, what responsibilities one has or her qualifications specifically for that task but I know a lot about Gabbard and she is very smart, level headed, patriotic to the citizens first and not to ideology and agendas. I'm very optimistic about her in the government.
Solid choice, especially if gutting the BS is a high priority, which appears to be a common theme in all of his picks so far.
I know some of the commentators I trust like her so that gives me more trust. Never researched her to thoroughly on her skills for that specific position. But anything is better than someone I outright don't trust.
She’s not a bad pick. He’s going to pick someone who’s aligned with his party, and he could’ve done a lot worse.
I wouldn't have put her in that position. Maybe US Ambassador to the UN.
It's hard to be a fan of a double agent. She plays in the gray a lot.
It’s deeply concerning and seems to confirm Trump’s alleged infatuation with Vladimir Putin.
Oh, wow man!!
But she's a Russian spy!
NOT!!
I'm fine with it.
A hell of a lot better than the one there now! Do not underestimate
As bad as Rick Perry for Energy Sec. "It ain't oil!"
She could be better in a different position, but I'm happy she's in his cabinet.
She looks intelligent and sympathetic
She's an excellent pick.
It dowsn't matter. America hit flush.
She seems like a good pick
Great move
