Do you agree with the concept of U18 nightclubs?

Some areas in the uk have u18 nightlife evenings, hosted in the normal nightclubs where older people go. Does this encourage poor behaviour, a provocative dress code and other bad associations, or just harmless fun?

would be interested to know if this exists in other countries too

I'm fine with it if they keep adults and alcohol away, close down early, and keep a dress code. It's no different than the monthly school dances I used to go to. There needs to be supervision obviously. And obviously bathrooms that are segregated by sex. Not gender or else the boys will all identify as trans right before impregnating an attendee. You know what, this sounds to difficult to pull off. Maybe just keep it at schools. I don't know...

Bro you should have seen the school dances when I was a kid. Girls were dressed like prostitutes. End up with snail trails on your pants... That's why I mentioned a dress code. Just make everyone wear jean pants.

they're illegal here... and for very good reasons

there are no "night life" clubs for minors...

well... there are, but they're all illegal and doing all kinds of shady stuff

Texas and Mexico... it's illegal on both sides, and there's shady stuff going on both sides... especially with drugs and alcohol

Practically all venues are open to underage patrons here, if the owner wants it. They have to give their IDs to the bouncers/door personnel and leave the club at 22.00, 23.00 or midnight.

Yeah, it comes and goes here at a few places. It seems like owners try to figure out new revenue streams and this sounds like it has potential but it doesn’t pan out after a year or two.

Oh! Yeah, we've had those for decades! i remember one night, there was an under 18 show at a place we were supposed to play that same night. Henry Rolllins was the performer. After he was done, we got on stage and played the rest of the night for the over 18 crowd.
