I strongly believe what this man says is true. It’s scary. We will see where we are 4 years from today. America, wake up.

I am pretty sure that all the folks who thought this was an attempt by the "left" to voice remarks on how wrong the rightists are-- did not even listen to this professor. This was NOT a talk about Dems or Republicans. This was an economist talking about our ECONOMY and how it is NOW, compared to what it was about in the 60's and 70's. He is not wasting time, rightfully, on thinking how is right and who is wrong. Nothing was mentioned about this. I see most of you here are pretty judgmental.

He tries to scare you by quoting growth figures. Well, a 6 year old child grows faster than a 40 year old man. That doesn't mean much of anything.

There's nothing wrong with global competition.

Look at his body language. His continuous squeezing his hands together is an obvious sign that he is stressed saying what he does, that he doesn't totally believe it.

And what does he have to do with the Community Church of Boston, the icon in the lower right corner?

The bottom line? The United States is doing fine... and so is the rest of the world.

Let's live our lives, and not be so fearful.

He didn’t say things were wrong with global competition, if you listened to him. He said all that had happened since the 21st century, which is true.
What you said about how folks will react to his speaking, is exactly how he said many would.
He is a professor of Economics at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA and has been educated at Yale and Stanford. Are you saying you know more than he does?

@AviatorTom Tom, I did not listen to the man;s 'rant' because I would have responded the way you did. Keep in mind where this know-it-all is from! Massachusetts is as far left as California, and the entire east coast voted for Harris, and the east coast has ALWAYS been very left as has the entire west coast.

I just blocked two ass wipe Canadians for the "convicted criminal' BS and of course we all know where Canada stands politically. Note the riot in Canada and the Prime Minister (or whatever his title is) sitting on his ass on vacation.

@Amy10223 I did listen to about half of the video, and then gave up since I couldn't understand the point he was trying to make, he just seemed to be rambling on about various economic things.

I would expect a professor would state his point up front, then provide logical reasoning to support it, and end by reaffirming what his point is. He certainly didn't do that. I'm glad I never had him in college... I would have failed his course... by being lost.
