Neadrathal men were 3 times stronger and more muscular than homosapian men, they were also faster and had 5 times the testosterone. In a fight they could defeat 5 homosapian men by themselves, they could also see in the dark. Homosapians in the middle east were nearly driven to extinction a few times by Neadrathals when they left africa, this happened a few times. Neadrathals found that homosapians were useful to them for tools, as food and to hunt and as Neadrathal and homosapians were sexually compatible their women were also good for sex and breeding with and unlike Neadrathal women couldn't put up much of a fight. Think about it a tribe of Neadrathals kills your village and eat all the men, then they take turns on you again and again, strong powerful thrusts by well hung Neadrathal men, breeding with you, multiple times.

Think we need to focus on lessoning the human overpopulation. People who have ten kids and 40+ and counting grandchildren about to pop great grandchildren. How do they get quality time? Extinct animals are probably glad to be done with this world, leave them resting in peace.
