I think people who work in corporate media (especially in the newsrooms) are so brainwashed that they believe everything they're fed and have a hard time comprehending realities on the ground.

Look at two examples: Don Lemon and Tucker Carlson.

Don still can't wrap his head around how talking with regular people on the street doesn't match with the news room narrative that he hears every day.

Tucker Carlson basically discovered the world for the first time when he set out on his own and is like a kid in a candy store any time he goes somewhere he's never been before.

Tucker on the other hand is what I classify as a very smart person who makes mistakes. This kind of person is a cutting edge thinker. And anyone thinking on the cutting edge gets cut sometimes. I admire this kind of person because they are the true innovators.

I see your point about that aspect of Tucker and of all people in all newsrooms. They are out of touch with the real world to a great extent... who wouldn't be if you were steeped in that kind of job 24/7/365. But I would not put Lemon and Carlson in the same bucket.

But the overriding point is that most of the media is left of center. And they have been INTENTIONALLY obfuscating and twisting the truth for a long long time now while trying to pass themselves off a journalists.
