What should Trump do about the Hunter Biden pardon and the likely pre-emptive pardons of the Biden family and associates?

There have been1,265 arrests made with respect to January 6. He should pardon, commute or release every one of them on Day One. Seems equitable.

He should also have the new Justice Department arrest and indict Lieutenant Michael Byrd for the murder of Ashley Babbitt. Byrd should receive the same treatment as Derek Michael Chauvin got as regards George Floyd. And Trump should commute Chauvin's sentence. Seems equitable.

It's not like Trump didn't already free 5,000 Taliban fighters and US war criminals, what's a few US seditionists to go along with them? Not to mention his son-in-law's father (who's since committed more crimes) and people convicted of covering up for Trump.

You act as if Trump needs an excuse. Besides, you should be happy; if they're all pardoned, they can't plead the fifth any more (not that any of them have or need to).

While not an exact 1:1 option, it isn't totally unheardof and I know two off the top of my head: Andrew Johnson issued a (conditional) pardon to Confederate officers and soldiers after the war's official end but before the last of the Confederate troops had actually surrendered.

Nixon was also pardoned by Ford without ever having been taken to court. This was likely an agreement made prior to his resignation, though.

@BCA6010 Jimmy Carter let al the draft dodgers who were living in Canada come back and Lincoln pardoned Union soldiers to try and heal the country. These were pardons for specific crimes not blanket pardons. Biden is doing this to save his own skin.
