Oh, and here I was thinking You managed to dig up some actual dirt on soon-to-be President Donald Trump... How naive of me... This statement is just President Donald Trump doing His job right since before taking office. The deal is as follows: invest $1 000 000 000 or more in bringing jobs and technology into the USA, and You will be rid of any impediments You might otherwise face in Your business. Or, in other words: we are going to cooperate with anybody who invests at least $1 000 000 000 in the US workers' wages and business research in the US so that they can reach their business goals without needless interruptions. There is the minor hiccup of potentially enabling China to invest in the US without issues and taking over the US markets, but overall, that's exactly what the policy of the POTUS should be.
On the condition that a company invests heavily in the US, their requests for permits/approvals will get expedited priority. By the quoted statement, it is not exclusion from regulations or a get out of jail free card; it's giving priority to bigger projects and investments that will implicitly have a bigger impact.
What exactly is the problem?

"Space Nazi" lol since when was Elon Musk a nazi? Anyway I don't like this. Why should only the big companies get permits. I say eliminate the permits all together!
That's a sound argument. I believe the original intention is to bait the biggest fish into investing in the US first, though. The policy might get extended in accordance with Your insightful suggestion later.
That's great news. He's rewarding companies investing billions jn the us. Big difference from Biden rewarding companies investing in Mexico and China.

Funny how liberal nazis like yourself when asked about Biden pardoning his son of all his crimes over the last 11 years bring up trump pardoning the likes of Jack Johnson persecuted by the Democrats

Not the first time Trump flip flopped and won’t be the last.
Remember what he said about sitting presidents going to jail for classified document mishandling?
“If she were to win this election, it would create an unprecedented constitutional crisis. In that situation, we could very well have a sitting president under felony indictment and ultimately a criminal trial.”

https://youtu.be/yDmrom_TMaE?they really could use a nuclear reactor in Mar a largo. using a lot of power down there...
Lets get one spun up... get the epa permits done... make it happen. got plenty of water too...
He knows he's going to screw up the economy. So is dog whistling the Arabs and Chinese to stand by and buy them out.
Whats wrong with encouraging growth within the US. ? The Biden administration chased jobs out of the US in droves. Trump is doing the opposite.
Trump lost jobs in droves. there was many stories just like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHv_qYcgNT8 which makes this hilarious: https://youtu.be/y31v5NFWz5E?si=1gWMijDyw3h62BGN
@Sabretooth The NY Times searched far and wide to find somebody who did not like Trump's tariffs on Chinese steel. It was a nail manufacturer who did not have the foresight to plan ahead because when Trump implemented tariffs it took a few months before the American steel companies to ramp up their production to handle the additional business.
This one company was in the vast minority. The company that I am familiar with was able to source their steel from several different American companies and did not experience a shortage of raw materials. It took a little extra time but they seemed to be okay with it.
we also get plenty of steel from Canada. and beyond, we were also also losing coal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjl_nbYCxfk and then, the farmers that Trump had to bail out. there was also this coverage in 2019: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoPJyYFwq6I . right now, Nissan Motor Corp. announced a global workforce reduction of 9,000 people, or about 6% of its more than 133,000 employees, as well as a plan to slash global production capacity by 20%. Nov 7, 2024 and now, no one is denying that prices WILL go up.
@Sabretooth Nissan is not an American company. Buy your car from an American company. That way you do not have to worry about tariffs.
We still use parts imported from other countries: www.kbb.com/.../
did you hear the story Trump told about the woman who tried to buy thee apples at the grocery store?
It's obvious he thinks those regulations are counterproductive and incentivizing people to invest in the United States to get around those cumbersome regulations is logical.
Which is exactly what the POTUS should be doing.
@CalmUntilAbused hell yeah 👍
@Juxtapose I wish we had politicians like this in Poland... Though they would probably totally sell us out to Germany with this kind of policy. It must prioritize the nation's own businesses, at least in case of Poland. The US will be fine, they have shares in most companies anyway.
Lol I love how you’re getting owned in the comments section.
You clearly don’t know what corruption is 😂😂😂

Would you have ever thought there'd be a time when people who call themselves Americans get upset that business owners are going to invest in America?
Environmental permits are not licenses to break environmental law
You call that corruption? Shit, you should judge the legt.
You get a car and you get a car and you get a car
