How can Biden still be President when even his aided admit he is in decline?

Even during this few month lame duck period, we have a President who I have been reading even from left-wing sources that his aides say he "has good days and bad days" and is in "obvious cognitive decline".. and he is still President, wtf? How can the cabinet not remove him?

The president is only a small part of the overall government machine. There are hundreds and thousands of people working away to make things happen under him.

If an imbecile like Trump managed to finish a term in office, then it cannot be that hard. But I doubt he'll get much finished in this last term of his, as no one is really willing to work for him.

Same reason the cabinet didn't remove Trump wven though he spent his last 2 months only plotting how to illegally stay in power and never doing his job. Even before that, he just watched tv all day and rage tweeted. He has the attention span of a fruit fly so he never listened to anyone telling him what was going on in the world. The country largely runs itself and there are plenty of people in the background getting things done.
