What kind of idea makes naturist people naked?

I'm really curious about their philosophy. I need people who can answer my questions without being offended.

I had a few friends who were naturalists in the past. I don't think there is one reason behind the ideology as I've heard many reasons. I'm not a naturalist so I will attempt to steel man some of their points.

One reason is clothing is used to establish class. Saying I can afford louis vuitton gives you status, but when naked every one is equal.

It makes you more vulnerable. This makes people uncomfortable, but by doing thins naked they learn to accept their insecurities and become more confidant.

This one is my own speculation, but I think it may also be a sensory thing for some. Howard Hughes developed Allodynia near the end of his life and was unable to wear clothes do to the pain it caused. It may not be as bad for most naturalists, but I think this may be a factor.

I think there is a sensory aspect to it as well. Clothing can be very irritating to me, especially when there aren't other stimuli, such as when trying to sleep or relax.

Very liberating, especially in s warm environment. Very difficult for non naturists like my boyfriend. Like he came with me to a nude beach in Spain with my family. I made sure we f*cked that morning but he still got an erection with my sisters around espicially my youngest who has recently developed pretty sizeable breasts for her size. I'm just far more comfortable nude, and I don't see nudity as inherently sexual. Feeling the sun, breeze, and/or water on your whole body without any clothing in the way is a great feeling. As for the social aspect of it, you get comfortable with nudity very quick, both being seen nude and seeing others nude. When I'm with a group of nude friends we're all way more open in our conversations. Naturism has been linked to improved self image and body acceptance as well.

nudism is obligatory to improved self image and body acceptance. you talk that it has to be.. but in my opinion it is not related to be naked. in that case who has fit body shouldn't be nudist.

Naked is our most natural state. It feels more comfortable than clothes in certain situations (i. e. sleeping, swimming, etc.) and there are some health benefits (i. e. improved blood flow, mental health benefits, etc.).

Free spirited souls who want to stick it to the man and societies oppresive and judgmental way and how the body is a heavenly gift and we shouldn’t be ashamed of our bodies by hiding it under stupid clothes. MY OPinion ofc

It's the most liberated you can and will feel. It cuts through EVERYTHING and leaves only authenticity and humility. I don't know. For me anyway.
