i met a guy who said he made 400k this year. he graduated in 2023. what the hell? i knew they are obviously not poor but i never knew they could make that kind of money! is that the case for most or it depends on you working in a popular/succesfful clinic etc

I think they do pretty well.

My buddy’s husband is a dentist, down in Florida. The dude is from Cuba, and he said he was educated for free in Cuba. I kind of blurted out “damn, free school? That’s awesome.”, and he started getting a little testy. I realized there might be some stuff that I should probably tread lightly about, so I didn’t push back on anything, but he was like “yeah, and then you only make $15 an hour doing it if you stay in Cuba!”

I didn’t press him on it, but in my mind, I was thinking “that’s some ungrateful ass shit right there. You used a free education system to get yourself into a useful career, probably intended to serve your own fellow countrymen, and instead you took the free education and LEFT, because…. because it wouldn’t make you RICH in Cuba, just normal? Are you in this to help people? Or just to make a buck? There’s nothing respectable about being a doctor or a dentist or anything like that if it’s just about money and being in a higher social strata.”

But anyway, that’s what he did, and they seem to be living pretty well, other than being in Florida with some of our craziest Americans and fucking ALLIGATORS, holy shit, man😂 Hands down the scariest place in the U. S., lmfao

No. It depends on many factors. For example I know electricians that make around 500k a year.

It's not because they are anything special. But rather, they live in a rural area that has a few specialist factories. They can charge anything from 1 grand an hour to more for jobs that need covered.

Making money is not about career but being in the right locations too.

In the United States, yes, because there is no public health system, although the average is less than 400 thousand dollars a year. In countries with public health systems, dentists usually earn two minimum monthly wages.

Depends, like any business there are dentists who own their own practice and those who work as employees. It takes a lot to buy the equipment office and staff.

A dentist at most will make around 200k or a bit more depending on their city like L. A. or New York city.
