How to get your overdraft fees refunded?

I’ve noticed this morning that sum credit company have been taking sum money fees from my bank account so now it’s overdraft how can I get back to normal and having my fees refunded, and any ways on how to prevent it to happens again?

The obvious answer he is don’t let your account become overdrawn , charges are the cost of the overdraft ( credit ) facility. If the company has incorrectly taken the money from your account you may be able to pursue them to refund the amount plus the charges the bank have issued but that’s unlikely or would take more time or effort than it’s worth.


Normally if you bring your account back to at least 0 in the same banking day as you became overdrawn the bank will not charge you for the use of this credit facility.

Call them and explain. usually I got the $ reposted. Those fees are insane.

Lock your credit cards or switch to a bank and cards/accounts you can lock.

Through your bank app, usually.
Or call them and tell them to lock them.

Call them right away. Sometimes they’ll remove it if you call and ask
