It’s pretty scary watching some of these outfits just fold because they think the direction of the winds of public opinion have changed. It’s like they were on the right side of the argument, then realized we live in a country of ignorant and bigoted half-wits, and suddenly went “OOPS! What we meant was…let’s see how this Trump thing plays out.” That’s some sorry ass shit. Only independent progressive media seems to be trustworthy…. and even Cenk Uygur is trying to play ball.

This time period is going to separate the frauds from the real ones.

But I do think a lot is fear-based. This isn’t a normal administration coming in, these are the biggest lunatics America has ever seen. I think people are legitimately scared that Trump might go dictator mode and start going after truth-tellers who oppose him. Scary and dark time for America. The FCC has been a regulatory body for broadcasters for decades. There is a license that must be renewed periodically. There have been instances where licenses have not been renewed if it can be shown the TV station does not operate in the "public interest".
CBS has purposely lied to and misled the American people on more than one occasion. It would not be crazy talk to see their renewal for license be denied,
President Trump has already won a major lawsuit against ABC and has other lawsuits pending. Just because we have the First Amendment does not give media outlets the right to lie and slander people just because they oppose democrats.

Yes, Trump's interview with Leslie Stahl on 60 minutes. /also Kaala harris;s interview on CBS. It was portrayed to be a srraight news show.. They edited out one of her answers because it showed her total stupidity. Instead of running it so Americans would see what they would be voting for they purposely misled the public by editing the answer out and inserting something else.
This is totally not in the "public interest"

They edited an interview for clarity? Oh, the humanity! Fox "News" lies like a rug and regularly cuts away from politician speeches when they're about to say something really important (Democrats) or really stupid (Republicans, especially Trump).

They didn't attack him for years, it was in their interests that he win, or at least the election was close; if it wouldn't have been close, nobody would have spent billions in advertising.
