There are no economic systems like that. Don't confuse net worth with money. They are VERY different. Those uber wealthy people you hear about don't actually have much money.

That is because they choose not to have much money on hand in order to avoid taxes. That is not the same thing as not having much money.

Yes, they borrow money against costly assets they have purchased with large sums of money and live off the proceeds of the loans. It is a very effective tax dodge. But keep right on saying to yourself that they have no money which is of course bullshit.
