I do know they were well warned about this happening and they did nothing. Now they will run around like headless chickens after the fact. The Democrats in charge will pay this time for their incompetence, expect california to be red in 2 years. Even now they are setting $50 million aside to combat trump in a california senate meeting while people's homes burn.

Don't even see smoke nothing has changed only thing that lets us know about the fires is the news. 24 dead omg so bad... The last huge fire in Cali hundreds dead!
So we are doing much better in that area.
Churches are doing fund raisers and donations.
Nothing has affected us but traffic. It's awful but also it's just life. Also they are completely ignoring most of the arson copy cats trying to set fires around California. Some even hired to destroy property...
So yay sure ignore the homeless issue cause Fire! Now crime is up all over and the police well won't do anything they are told just move them from La.
Who cares what crimes they do. They earn a nice stay in a warm jail and free hospital stays taking up beds for months and often going crazy on us staff.

I'm on the East Coast (RI) right now, but I've been told by the military side of things I have to move to San Diego California in the next few months. I am not looking forward to this bullshit.
Drugs, gangs, homeless people, libtards which include fags and trans homos. Fires and shit too... yeah fuck this shit. I can't wait until I have no attachment to the military and just go live in the mountains.

California is a big place. Those fires are only effecting a small percentage of people.
I'm in northern California, so no problems near me at the moment.
My sister lives in south-eastern L. A. county and was not effected at all, not even by smoke or wind.
Summer, not winter, is typically fire season in California.
Winter is often mud slide season in southern California. So this is weird. I suspect that these fires were a result of arson.
I feel sorry for the victims of any disaster. But neither I nor anyone I know has been effected by these fires.
I wonder who is going to freeze to death in the eastern and northern parts of this country over the next few days.
There's always something.
I'm in the South Bay, which is the southwestern part of LA. While I haven't been directly affected by the fires, I know plenty of people who have. But regardless, the fires will still affect all of us. No Californian will not be financially impacted by the fallout of the fires. This state has been so horribly mismanaged for years, and all the bad decisions and policies by all the unqualified and incompetent leaders here are coming to a head all at once. The financial and economic impact in the coming years will be devastating to the entire state.
As a native Californian, I apologize to all Americans, because sadly, all of you will pay the price for what has happened in SoCal over the last couple of weeks, for all the governmental incompetence that led up to it, and ultimately for the decisions made by California voters that enabled all of it. A lot of us made mistakes, and I'm no exception.
I'm in Florida doing fine, however over the weekend did talk with an old GaG member who I met on here 16 years ago and have stayed friends since she left GaG years ago. I was even in Cali for her wedding. She lives in Santa Barbara which is north of the fires and all is well with them with exception of the smoke filled sky and some smell of the fires. She was known as Princess Sarah when she was here.
Double blow to Californians!
Not only did their state burn to the ground but they lost their only source of news TicTok! Keep voting for the people and party over and over again when they are destroying your state and that's what happens.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is the cause of this catastrophe.
The Democrats that the people of California kept voting for over and over again spent all your money Trump proofing the state instead of fireproofing it.
Coping with what? Life? I'm too busy working and sleeping to have a life right now. I live about 30 miles as the crow flies from the fires. Except for the damned smoke, it's not affecting my life. It might as well be a thousand miles away.
. When you're just trying to keep up with work and the demands of day-to-day survival, it feels like everything else is just background noise. You’re in survival mode—working, sleeping, doing what you have to do to get by. I can only imagine how draining that must be, especially when it feels like the world around you is in chaos, but it doesn’t directly touch you in a way that makes you feel like you can do something about it.
It’s strange, isn’t it? Living so close to the fires and yet feeling disconnected from the urgency of it. The smoke might hang in the air, making everything feel heavy and oppressive, but the flames themselves seem far enough away that it's easy to push them out of your mind. The anxiety and stress are real, though. The constant threat of it getting worse, the helplessness of not knowing what tomorrow might bring—it all adds up.
But sometimes, just being able to take a breath and say, "I’m doing the best I can," is all we can do. It’s okay if your life feels like it’s on pause right now because you’re too busy just trying to stay afloat. We all cope in different ways, and sometimes it’s the little things that keep us going—whether it’s a few quiet minutes to yourself or finding small moments of peace, even if it's just between shifts.
I a, way on the other side of the country but I have been through natural disasters before and I really feel bd for the victims of this tragedy.
I'm in California, but in a different area. But I had to deal with my share of wildfires last year too and had to evacuate for the first time.
My mom literally came back from CA not 24 hours ago. She was in Berkley which is hundreds of miles north. They really weren't feeling any residual effect from LA being on fire.
I got some friends who live in LA I’m concerned about. I even got an ex girlfriend out there who I want to be safe.
It’s not as bad as you think. LA did not close down. Lots of damage in neighbourhoods that experienced fires, but it’s a pretty big place
Nobody deserves tragedy.
Why? What’s going on?
Your boobs are going to pop!
